The project ‘New born’ is an installation art objects to celebrate the opening of the National Institute of Intangible Heritage. The symbolic meaning of the birth and the sense of place in this facility is expressed using lighting, fluffy fabric, wind and nature. Fenomeno led the design and installation of this project.

also the moment of recalling the name of mother and father. 」
“New Born” is an installation art project at the opening ceremony of the National Institute of Intangible Heritage in 2014.
To celebrate the birth of the National Intangible Heritage Center, we investigated the elements can be symbolizing Jeonju, where the heritage center is located.To describe Seong-mu (Buddhist dance), considered and captured the character of the city of Jeonju where has rich wind, then we used the fluffy fabric to maximize the effect.
Brough the mom’s wish for new born baby into the fabric that has size of 45meter long, 11 meters width. The 10 spot light facing the fabric symbolizing heart of mother who waiting for baby to come. 10 month, mom’s wishes are in the 10 moons.
